Rob Roy Way

As the name suggests the Rob Roy Way follows the path of many places linked with Scotland’s legendary outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor. This walk is steeped in clan history and has many interesting features including the Loch Katrine Water Scheme and the Pitlochry Fish Ladder and Dam amongst many more

From the Lowland village of Drymen, the Rob Roy Way makes its way northwards passing by the picturesque waters of Loch Venachar, Loch Lubnaig, Loch Earn and Loch Tay. You will be delighted with a series of picturesque villages as you make your way into the Highlands to reach the bustling Perthshire tourist town of Pitlochry

“On our travels up north, we pass by many of the villages on the Rob Roy Way and we are always made welcome with our doggies for a pint in the Mhor 84, which used to be the famous Kingshouse Hotel in Balquidder).”  Julie & Michelle
